Fingerprint Collection
The Chinese Consulate requires all visa applicants in the United Kingdom aged 14 to 70 to submit fingerprints at designated facilities in London, Manchester, and Edinburgh. Your application cannot be considered by the Consulate without fingerprints. Step 2: Gather the required documents
Required documents for China tourist visa:
1) Original passport ( Should have 2 blank pages facing each other + should be valid for at least 8 months)
2) 2 passport photo with white background (Photo Guideline) (Must have white background)
3) A photocopy of your passport (the information page with your name and photo, Must be in Colour)
4) A copy of your flight booking confirmation, showing your outbound and inbound flights.
5) Applicant must provide Hotel booking relative to their stay.

7) An Invitation Letter for tourist issued by a relevant unit or individual in China together with photocopy of both front and back sides of Chinese ID (for Chinese citizens) or foreign passport and residence permit (for foreign citizens) provided by the inviter (email us for the template)
8)A declaration form printed and signed, ( the PDF form below)
Special notes:
* If you hold a Non-UK passport you will need to provide evidence of your states in the United Kingdom. you must provide the original and photocopy of your UK legal status(work visa, study visa or residence permit).
* For multiple entry visas, you will also need to provide an itinerary of your journey, proving that you require more than one entry and exit.
*If you are a dual national or multi-national, you are requested to provide all current valid passports in your possession. Additionally, you may be also required to provide your previous passport(s) in support of your application.
* Photocopy of previous Chinese visas (applicable for those who have obtained Chinese visas before).
*If your name on the current passport differs from that on the previous one, you must provide an official document of name change).
*Please note that the Chinese embassy may require additional documentation if necessary.
For applicants under the age of 18:
1) the application form should be signed by their parents/ guardian
2)The passports of parents and/or relevant legal documents for the guardians plus passport of the guardians will be needed. Both original and copy of passport information page and signature page.
3)Birth Certificate with parents' names (original and copy). The Birth Certificate should be either in English or Chinese. If any personal information does not match with the documents provided (such as a name change), an official changing proof documents will be needed. The birth certificate should be either in English or Chinese
Special notes for under 18 years old applicants:
*If parents is holding non British passport, please also provide the original and photocopy of your UK legal status (work visa, study visa or residence permit).
* If the applicant is a dual national or multi-national, please provide all current valid passports in his/her possession. Additionally, the previous passport(s) may also be required in support of the application.
*The consular officer will decide on whether issue the visa or not and on its validity, duration of stay and number of entries in light of specific conditions of the applicant.
*An expired UK passport with a valid Chinese visa is good for travelling to China while it is used together with a new valid UK passport bearing the same name ,sex ,data of birth and nationality. If any changes are made to the above mentioned information on the new passport , a new visa shall be applied.
* For children under 16, the following must be provided: A copy of their full birth certificate, colour copy of the information page of both parents’ passports, and a child custody letter if parents are divorced. Alternatively, single parents bringing a child to the country should provide a solicitor’s letter and child benefit letter.
*Please note that the Chinese embassy may require additional documentation if necessary.

Step 3: Post or drop off your documents

Once we have all the correct documents, the visa process takes 10 working day to be stamped in your passport

Once we have received all the required documents and the completed forms, We will begin processing your visa application as soon as we receive it. We will contact you if additional information is required. An invoice will be sent to you once the application has been submitted.
For applications delivered in person to our offices, A1 Visa Services opening hours are Monday - Friday from 9am - 5pm.
